[VTEX Legacy] How to connect your VTEX store to your Grow account (API)

In the previous steps you set up the tracking of the Order ID through the parameter in the order success page URL.

Now that Grow is receiving order events with the Order ID, you need to connect your VTEX store to Grow, so that Grow can fetch the rest of the order data, such as the order price.

1. Create role for the Application Key

• Go to your VTEX store admin.
• From the left-hand menu go to Account Management > Roles

• Click on “New Role”

Under Choose Role, select “Custom”

• Under Role Name, give a distinct name for the role, such as Grow API

• Under “Choose Product”, select License Manager.

• In the list, check the box of the second option, “Get account by identified”.

• Click on “Configure another product”

• Under Choose Product, select “OMS”

• In the list, check the box of the fourth option, "View Order", the last option ''List Orders" and the "Feed v3 and Hook Admin" option.

• Click “Save”.

2. Create Application Key

• In your VTEX store admin, go to Account Management > Application Keys

• Click on “Manage my Keys”.

• Click on “Generate New”.

• Under Label, name your Application Key such as Grow API Key.

• Click on “Add Roles”

• Select the role you created in the previous step

• Click on “Add Roles”

• Click on “Generate”

• Copy and paste your Application token. You won’t be able to view it again, so make sure you save it in a safe place, like a password manager.

3. Add your Application Key to your Grow account.

• Login to your Grow account.
• Go to Settings.

• From the left-hand menu, go to Integrations.

• Click on “Setup” from the VTEX section.

• Under Application Key enter the Key of the Application Key you generated in the previous step.

• Next to the Application key field, enter the token you copy pasted in the previous step.

• Under the Application key, enter your VTEX account name.
  

• Next to the Account name, for the Environment field, enter “myvtex”.

• Click on “Create”, to complete your VTEX store connection to your Grow account.

After successfully connecting the VTEX store, your main integrations screen should look like this.
