[VTEX Legacy] How to set up an order placed trigger in Google Tag Manager
To set up the Grow Order Placed event tag in your Google Tag Manager you need to first have an Order Placed trigger in your Google Tag Manager container.
1. Go to your Google Tag Manager account and click on Triggers from the left-hand menu.
2. Click on “New” to create a new trigger.
3. Click on Trigger configuration.
4. Select Page View.
5. Click on “Some Page Views”.
6. On the first dropdown select “Page Path”.
7. Enter orderPlaced in the input.
This indicates that the order success page on your store contains orderPlaced, based on the default order success page URL of VTEX stores.
If you have changed the order success page URL on your VTEX store, and it does not contain orderPlaced anymore, you should add here whatever your new URL contains.
8. Enter a name for your Trigger and click on Save.
9. Don’t forget to publish your container to submit the changes.
