How to create an Onsite Form to acquire contacts
There are two ways to create a new Onsite Form. You can choose a template from the campaign gallery or create a new one from scratch.
Create an onsite form using Campaign Gallery
1. You can click on the Campaigns tab from the main menu and then click the Create new campaign button on the top right corner of the page.
2. After clicking, you can find the campaign gallery with mobile and desktop templates you can choose from.
❗ Please note that the naming of the campaign when choosing a template is being given automatically, based on the templates name and the timestamp of creation.
3. After clicking on the template you wish to use, the campaign editor will load and from here you can do any adjustments to your campaign. You can move to step 4 to find more details about each section of the editor.
Create an onsite form from scratch
1. You can click on the Dashboard tab from the main menu and then click on the Create your own button at the bottom of the page.
2. You can also click on the Campaigns tab from the main menu and then click the Create new campaign button on the top right corner of the page.
3. When the campaign gallery loads, click on the Start from scratch button. In the Start from scratch case, you will need to name your campaign first and then proceed to the editor.
4. From here you can select if you want your campaign to be shown on mobile or desktop devices, by clicking the according icon.
5. In the main menu you can find the Design, Settings and Elements tabs.
From the Elements tab, you can drag and drop any element, such as buttons, text boxes or forms.
From the Design tab, you can configure any settings, such as the position of the campaign, the background, border and more.
You can also edit any element after dropping it from the Settings tab.
6. For our case, we are going to drag and drop the form element onto the preview and then we will see the form editing menu on the left of our screen.
From here you can configure form settings, design, submission and layout options of the form.
7. Don't forget to configure the Action from the Submission tab. All you need to do is click on the Submission tab and then select the option Go to next step from the Action drop-down menu.
8. After selecting your action, you will need to add a new view for your successfully subscribed screen. You can easily do this by clicking on the Add step button.
This will create a new screen that you can edit the same way with the previous one.
9. Don't forget to click on the Save button to save all your progress.
