What is a Container in Google Tag Manager?
When you log into your Google Tag Manager account, you can view your Containers. A Container is the collection of tags, triggers, variables and other configurations you have set for a website or mobile app.
Each container consists of Workspaces, Versions and your Admin settings. In our case, we are going to focus on the Workspaces tab.
A Workspace allows you to create multiple sets of changes for your container.
You can make simultaneous changes with your team members in separate workspaces to avoid any mistakes or publishing unfinished versions. Please note that you will all need to sync your Workspaces to configure all the changes.
You can have up to three workspaces in total for regular accounts, and an unlimited number of workspaces for Tag Manager 360 accounts.
