How to enable and configure the Customer Winback text automation
The Customer Winback Text Automation is very popular in E-commerce, since it focuses on retargeting existing customers and can directly bring sales.
How does it work?
Once you have implemented the E-Commerce Events Tracking for your Grow script, we can track when visitors add items in their cart and when they place orders.
When contacts make a purchase on your e-shop and a specific number of days pass without the same contact making another purchase, they will receive a Customer Winback text, incentivising them to repeat another order.
- Enable the cart recovery text automation.
- Log into your Grow account at https://Platform.Grow.Up.St/
- On the navigation menu, click on “Text Automation” tab.
2. Click on the settings icon of Customer Winback to configure and enable the customer winback text automation, as shown below.
3. After enabling the automation, you can set the time range and text message your customers will receive.
4. From the time range, you can type the minimum and maximum number of days since the last purchase. Please note that if you enter 0 and x days, the messages will be sent the next day, not the same day.
5. You can also set the time when the messages will be sent. Please note that the time format is in 24h format (Sao Paulo time zone) and you cannot send any messages during silent hours (22:00-7:59 GMT-3, Sao Paulo time zone).
6. Now you need to configure the message that the customers will receive, by typing in the input box, as shown below. You can also preview the message on the right of Preview box. Please note that there is a maximum total of 160 characters.
7. Don't forget to click on the Save button to save your configurations.
