How to enable and configure Order Shipping Notifications

The order shipping notifications are now available and can provide transparency towards customers through the whole shipping process.


1. First, you need to connect VTEX API to your Grow account. Check this article to find out how.

2. You will also need to connect Nobordist to your Grow account. Find out how in this article.

3. Finally, you also need to have already set up the Webhook for Shipping updates. You can check this article to find out how.

4. After finishing all three set ups in the Grow platform, you will need to configure the Webhook in Nobordist. Review this article to find out how.

đź’ˇ Please note that you cannot enable order shipping notifications without setting up all four steps.

Now that you have configured all the integrations, you need to enable the automation in Grow. 

5. Log in to your Grow account at https://platform.grow.up.st/. From the navigation menu, click on “Text Automation” tab.

6. Click on the settings icon of Order Shipped Text Notification section.

7. From here, you can set the message that will be sent. Enable the toggle button and click on the Save button to save all your changes. 

đź’ˇ Don't forget to include all the important variables for the customers' notice, such as {{order.id}}, {{shipping.company}}, {{shipping.number}}, {{shipping.url}}.
