How to configure the Welcome message for new contacts

The Welcome message is what your new Contacts will receive once they sign up to your Text list.

Note that if you have double opt-in enabled, your Contacts will first receive the double opt-in message and once they confirm their subscription, then they will receive the Welcome message.

1. Go to Onboarding flows

• Log into your Grow account at https://platform.grow.up.st/
• Click on the top-right corner of the navigation menu and click on “Settings”.

• From the left-hand menu click on “Onboarding flows”

2. Enter the Welcome message text

• Enter your Welcome message text in the Text area in the “Welcome message” section.

Make sure you link your website in your Welcome message to redirect your Contacts back to your website to continue shopping.

• Be ware of the character count to optimize the number of SMS messages that will be sent for your Welcome message.

Special characters: Note that special characters are not allowed in SMS messages.

3. Save your Welcome message

• Don’t forget to click “Save” to submit your changes.
