How to add an opt-out link in your SMS messages

There are four different links that can be added in SMS messages.

• Site URL: the online store’s URL
• Cart URL: the online store’s URL to the cart page
• Double Opt-in Landing Page: the URL of the double opt-in page where contacts can confirm their subscription if double opt-in is enabled.
• Opt-out Landing Page: the URL of the page from which contacts can unsubscribe.

In this article, we are going to add an opt-out link in our Welcome message.

1. Log into your Grow account at https://platform.grow.up.st/

2. Click on the top-right corner of the navigation menu and click on “Settings”.

3. From the left-hand menu, click on “Onboarding flows”.

4. In the Welcome message section, type in your text and add the opt-out.url variable in curly brackets. Your message should look similar to the following one.

5. You will also need to configure your opt-out landing page. Check this article to find detailed instructions.

6. Don't forget to click on the Save button, in order to configure your changes.
